Q: How do I get my team or league on JASZone?

A:  If you know of a team, league or organization that is not currently part of JASZone, simply email webmaster@jaszone.com with your information and we will get in touch with you to let you know how to become part of JASZone.com.

Q: What's the XChangeZone?

A:  The XChangeZone is a local on-line classified service for sports equipment.  Why go to E-Bay when you can find good used sports equipment right here in the Jamestown area?  For $2/month you can list your sports item ($1 of that fee goes directly to a JasZone sporting organization of your choice).  Click on the XChangeZone to start selling your equipment today.

Q: Why isn’t the information for my team current?

A:  Because the JasZone team hasn’t received the information.  JasZone relies on input from league administrators, coaches and parents for content.  Anyone familiar with the team can help update game results, pictures and news items.  Information loading templates are on the site under your team information.

Q: I see other athlete pictures on the site, but none of my child.  Why is that?

A: Pictures on JasZone come from web site visitor submittals.  On the main page you will find a link that allows you to submit your pictures.  Submit often and the site will update those pictures on your sport/team page, and make sure you include a brief description of the picture for inclusion.

Q:  The Jamestown area sport I really like doesn’t have a link on your site.  Why is that?

A:  JasZone relies on interest in a sport from an organization to get information onto the site.  If you believe there is an interest from a sport or league to be involved on the Zone, have someone from that sport use the link on the main JasZone.com contact us. 

Q:  I notice local advertising on your web site.  How do I get my company on the site?

A: Simply click on the Contact us link for more information.  JasZone can create almost any ad size/contract to fit any advertising budget. 

Q: I notice national companies with ads on the site. What are those about?

A: Any advertisement that links you to an e-commerce site (like Eastbay for Kids, Footlocker, NHL.com) are part of the “JasZone Affiliate Kick-Back Program".  Click on the link for the program on the main page for information on how you can make money for your favorite Jamestown Area Sports organization with every purchase with companies that originate from the JasZone.com site.
