there annual cheerleader competition on
November 1st at Sherman Central School. The
Bemus Point cheerleaders came away with 3
awards.

North All-Stars defeated South All-Stars 18-6: North
All-Stars Varsity wins Art Betts Memorial Fall Classic All-Stars.
The North Team (Bemus Point, Panama and West field) defeated the
South Team (Brocton, Chautauqua Lake, Sherman/Ripley) 18 to 6
Saturday afternoon. MVPs for the North Team included Adam
Carpenter (offense) and John Scroxton (defense). The South Team
MVPs were Corey Voorhis (offense) and Trevor Enterline (defense).
Carpenter led the North offense with 2 touchdowns and 110 yards
rushing. Chris Jones tossed a 30 yd touch town pass to Joshua
Bernhardt. Derek Johnson and Cameron Wright also had excellent
contributions to the North’s ground game. Scroxton led the
North’s defense with 5 tackles; Michael Okerlund recorded 2 tackles,
recovered a fumble and grabbed a South Team pass for an
interception. Jon Coe, Ryan Boughton, Lee Wascher Dalton Bolles,
Johnson, Wright, and Carpenter all played well to control the
defensive line of scrimmage. Corey Voorhis scored a rushing
touchdown and ran well along with Devin Moorehead for the South
Team. Trevor Enterline led the defensive effort for the South Team.
