10/11 - Bemus JVs defeated Panama JVs 22-0:  Bemus Point traveled to Panama and posted a 22-0 victory on Saturday afternoon.  Chase Helgren and Jed Micek each contributed a rushing touchdown while Jonah Tanner connected with Patrick Nelson on a 58 yard scoring strike.  TJ Bihler, Kass Howard, and AJ Putt each recovered fumbles to end Panama drives.  Nathan Saar's fourth quarter interception preserved the Red Dragons' fourth shutout of the season.

10/4 - Panama JVs defeated Brocton JVs 14-6:  The Panama Panther JV squad continued their second half heroics this week with a come from behind 14-6 win over the host Brocton Bulldogs.  After spotting Brocton a 6-0 lead, the Panthers roared back in the second half with a 53 yard Touchdown run by Dylan Bergman and an 85 yard Touchdown run by Clayton Manwaring. Manwaring led the offense with 111 yards on the ground.  The Panther defense shut Brocton out in the second half. Gregory Delahoy led the Panama defensive charge with 13 tackles and a crucial late game fumble recovery at the Panama 1 yard line. Bergman contributed 10 tackles and Dylan Mescall added 12 tackles to the defensive effort.

9/27 - Panama JVs defeated Westfield JVs 14-0:  The Panama Panther and Westfield Wildhawks JV squads met for the second time in as many weeks. Panama improved to 4-1 on the season after edging Westfield 14-0.  Just as in the first meeting, this game was a defensive struggle right from the start with both teams trading turnovers and punts thru three quarters. Much like the Buffalo Bills this season, Panama waited until late in the third quarter before baring their offensive fangs. First year player Kyle Saxton broke a 75 yard Touchdown to put the Panthers ahead 6-0. Dylan Mescall added the insurance TD with less than one minute left in the game and Dylan Bergman plunged in from two yards out for the 2 point conversion.  Saxton led all Panama rushers with 85 yards on the ground. Bergman led the Panama defense with 16 tackles, Tommy Hoch and Greg Delahoy contributed 7 tackles apiece, while Ryan Applebee and Patrick Radka combined for 2 interceptions in the Panther secondary.

9/20 - Panama JVs defeated Westfield JVs 14-6:  The Panama Panther JV squad climbed back into the win column this week with a nail-biting come from behind 14-6 win over the visiting Westfield Mini-Hawks.  Westfield opened the scoring in the third quarter and took a 6-0 lead into the last frame. Panama's offense, which had been held in check all day by the Mini-Hawk's relentless defense finally found the scoreboard on a 69 yard Touchdown run by Clayton Manwaring with 4:45 left to play. With the score 8-6, the Panther defense stepped up big. Panama cornerback Chris Blose intercepted a Westfield pass and returned it 44 yards for another score. On Westfield's final possession, Panama DB Patrick Radka sealed the game with the Panther's second interception of the day. Dylan Bergman and Dylan Mescall led the Panther defense with 9 tackles each, while Radka added 6 defensed passes to his interception.

9/13/08 - Bemus JVs defeated Panama JVs 14-6:  Panama's Dylan Bergman returned an interception 60 yards to open the scoring, but Bemus Point's Chase Helgren countered with two rushing touchdowns to lead the Red Dragons to 14-6 win in LSMFL Jayvee action.  Bemus Point's Jed Micek had 120 yards on 18 carries.  On defense, Helgren contributed with an interception while Nolan Knipe recovered two Panther fumbles.

9/6/08 - Panama JVs defeated Sherman JVs 18-0:  Panama's JV Panthers squared off against Sherman in a tight battle, with Panama eventually posting an 18-0 win over the visiting Wildeagles. Clayton Manwaring rushed 6 times for 138 yards and 2 scores for the Panthers, while his backfield mate Dylan Bergman added a score of his own, toting the rock 5 times for 20 yards on the ground. Dylan Mescall contributed 49 hard fought yards on 8 carries, most of which came up the middle.

Defensively, Dylan Bergman led the Panthers with 2 interceptions, 2 solo tackles, and 7 assists. Dylan Mescall and Ryan Applebee each posted a solo tackle and 8 assists a piece. Sherman turned the ball over 6 times to an opportunistic Panther defense. In addition to Bergman's interceptions, Ryan Applebee picked off a pass and Dylan Mescall, Wyatt Jackson, and Josh Eddy all recovered fumbles.

8/30/08 - Panama JVs defeated Chautauqua Lake JVs 22-14:  The Panama Panthers JV Midget Football squad defeated Chautauqua Lake 22-14 on the strength of 312 yards total team rushing, and 225 yards rushing by third year RB Clayton Manwaring.
