9/27 - Chautauqua Lake JVs defeated
Brocton JVs 20-8: The CL
Thundercats JV squad came out on fire and
stayed that way through out the game. #38
John Piper set the tone with some nice
running for over 80 yds. and 2 touch downs.
#27 had a great day after coming back from
being very sick with 45 yds. rushing and a
key interception at the end of the game. #22
Ryan Miller had 40 yds. rushing. Leading the
defense was #16 Courtney Hewes and #17
Ashton Albanesius. Brocton's offense
was led by a nice run by #39 Damon James for
a TD folowed by the 2pt. conversion by #28
Derek Walters. Leading the Bull Dogs
on defense was #18 James Luczkowiak,#39
Damon James, and #28 Derek Walters.
9/20 - Chautauqua Lake JVs defeated
Sherman JVs 20-8:
Running duties were pretty well split with
all 3 running backs rushing for over a 100
yards and each scoring a touch down.(John
Piper, Ryan Miller, and Courtney Hewes.
Defense was led by Courtney Hewes with 7
tackles & 6 Assists. John Piper,Braydyn
Wappat & Ryan Miller also had a great day on
defense. Sherman's # 24 Garrett Owens
led the offense with over a 100 yard game
along with the solo TD of the game for the
Sherman Wild Eagles. #3 Aarien Cole led the
Defense with an outstanding effort for his
team.
9/13 - Chautauqua Lake JVs defeated
Westfield JVs 22-6: In Junior
Varsity action Saturday night, the
Chautauqua Lake Thundercats defeated the
Westfield Golden Hawk’s 22 – 6.
Courtney Hewes scored two touchdowns and
Ryan Miller scored a third to lead the
Thundercats. Trent Howard and Ryan Miller
tacked on the extra points. For the Hawk’s,
Dan Ackendorf scored the sole touchdown.
The Hawk’s defense was lead by Luke Hasken
with 6 tackles followed by Tanner Dahl with
5 tackles. Dan Ackendorf recovered a
Thundercat fumble. Braydyn Wappat and Ryan
Miller lead in tackles for the Thundercats.
In other action, Thundercat Travis Sturza
intercepted two Westfield passes with John
Piper intercepted a third.
9/6 - Bemus JVs defeated Chautauqua Lake
JVs 14-0: Jed Micek’s two
touchdown runs highlighted the scoring in
Bemus Point’s 14-0 win over Chautauqua Lake
in LSMFL junior varsity action. Micek
finished with 109 yards rushing on five
carries. Chase Helgren contributed with a
two point conversion and an interception.
Also for Bemus Point, Howie Nolan posted
four solo tackles including two sacks, while
Bradley Benson recovered a fumble to end a
potential scoring drive for Chautauqua Lake.
8/30/08 - Panama JVs defeated Chautauqua
Lake JVs 22-14: The Panama
Panthers JV Midget Football squad defeated
Chautauqua Lake 22-14 on the strength of 312
yards total team rushing, and 225 yards
rushing by third year RB Clayton Manwaring.
