- Fredonia defeated Westside 22-0:
In very
muddy conditions at Persell Middle School, Fredonia came out
victorious over Westside 22-0. Cameron Voss opened up the scoring
with a 76 yard touchdown. Michael Pucci added a 53 yard touchdown
run and Dakota Gardner had a 38 yard interception return for a
touchdown. Eric Swoyer and Voss added extra points while Tony Sweirk
and Nick Formanowicz led the Hillbillies defense. Tyler Germanto
and Hunter Peterson anchored the defense for Westside with 7 and 5
tackles respectfully.
10/3
- Westside defeated Southwestern 14-0:
For the
second consecutive week the Westside defense was "stingy" as they
delivered another shutout beating Southwestern 14-0. Tyler Germonto
and Graham Davis anchored the Defense with 5 Tackles and multiple
assists, Hunter Peterson contributed with an Interception. For the
Offense Hunter Peterson rushed for 86 yards and was on the receiving
end of a 76 yard touchdown pass from Graham Davis. The additional
score was added when Graham Davis scampered for a 58 yd touchdown.
For Southwestern Jake Chamberlain anchored the Defense and Jarrett
Yuchnitz had 64 yards rushing.
9/26
- Westside defeated Falconer 6-0:
On a
chilly rainy afternoon at Persell Middle School the WestSide
Panthers held of a late charging Falconer Team with a great
defensive play by Graham Davis and Hunter Peterson to stop Falconer
at the half-yard line to notch their first victory with a 6-0 win.
It was a hard-hitting old time football game; a majority of the game
was played between the 30-yard lines. For Westside Hunter Peterson
led the way galloping for 132 yards and a TD, he also helped anchor
a tough Westside Defense. On the Westside defensive side Andre
Johnson, Dylan Glatz and Jacob Quattrone all played with intensity
and were involved on several tackles. For Falconer Tyler Himes
rolled up 50 rushing tough yards. On the Defensive side Ricky
Griffith and Luke Munella stood out delivering several tackles
defending the Westside ground game.
9/19
- Dunkirk defeated Westside 13-8:
The
Dunkirk Marauders found another way to win on saturday n yet another
dog fight with westside. The the marauders defense shut the door
after westsides only touchdown by Hunter Peterson who ran hard for
102 yards. The 2pt conversion was completed to Jake Qualtrone by a
pass from Carson Peters. The marauders offense was led by Josh
Goodwin who had 11 carries for 93 yards n the only offensive
touchdown for Dunkirk. Evan grey for westside help keep the marauder
offense n check with 5 tackles. On defense the marauders were led by
Geo Dejesus with nine tackles 2 fumble recoveries taking one to the
house for the winning score. Isiah Thomas caused a fumble on the
last play of the game with his sack. He add 7 of his own tackles.
Seamus Raynor recovered that fumble and had 9 tackles. Gage Austin
had 8 tackles.
9/12
- Northside defeated Westside 28-0:
Ben larson was leading rusher with 115 yrds
with 3 Tds. Zacc Kinsey had 70 yrds rushing
and a Td. Panebianco had a Interception and
ran it in for a 35 yrd touch down. Steven
carlson had both ex. points. Alex Schupp,
Adam Gullo, Tyler Coulter and Noah Johnson
all had 5 talkles a piece. Kinsey had two
Interception. Westside Jacab Quattrone had
50 yrds rushing. Graham Davis had 5 tackles
and Trevor Thomas had 4 tackles.
9/5 - Cassadaga defeated Westside 20-0:
It was a combination of efforts for the
Cougars offense. Led by quarterback
Jordan Ingerson who threw for multiple
receptions. The Cougars leading rusher with
2 long touchdown runs was Shane Parsons. And
additional score was had by the Cougars with
a run from Chris Ellis who broke many
tackles to get into
the end zone. Defensively the Cougars
held the Panthers tightly all day. Many key
stops were made from Jarryd Bernoudy and
Cody Johnson. The leading player of the game
for the Panthers was Hunter Peterson who had
57 yds on the ground and made an outstanding
8 tackles. He also recovered a fumble
for the
Panthers. Together both teams played
hard and showed great sportsmanship
throughout the day. Also noted that
both teams Cheerleading squads did an
outstanding job to keep the
energy going and the fans involved. It is
much appreciated.
8/29 - Southside defeated Westside 22-0:
The Southside Blue Devils defeated the
Westside Panthers 22-0 last Saturday
afternoon at Strider Field. The Blue Devil
offense was paced by running back Matt
Nazzaro. Nazzaro gained 177 yards on 16
carries with a 69 yard touchdown run. Kevin
Mosely and Logan Bellardo each hit paydirt
from 5 and 2 yards respectively. Mosely and
Austin Johnson each caught 2 point
conversion passes from quarterback Kyle
Liuzzo to complete the scoring, all in the
1st half. The swarming Blue Devil defense
held the Panther offense to just one 1st
down. Mosely led the attack with 7 solo
tackles. Casper Whitacre chipped in with 6
tackles and a sack and Damian Jackson had 5
stops. Nazzaro also had 2 interceptions. The
Westside defense tightened up in the 2nd
half. Hunter Peterson led with 7 tackles,
while Ben Osman forced and recovered a
fumble. |
