10/24 - Southside
defeated Northside 12-8:
The Southside Blue Devils
capped off an undefeated
season by downing the
Northside Warriors in the
Jamestown Area Midget
Football League Championship
12-8 at Strider Field. The
South took a 6-0 lead in the
2nd quarter on a Kevin
Mosely 3 yard touchdown run.
The North answered back on a
1 yard td run by Noah
Johnson. Johnson's run was
set up by a long pass
reception from Zacc Kinsey .
Kinsey also caught the 2
point conversion to put the
Warriors up 8-6 at the half.
In the 2nd half, Mosely's
interception of a Northside
drive set up the Bluedevils
for a drive of their own.
Quarterback Kyle Liuzzo led
the Devils down the field to
the 1 yard line. He then
called his own number for a
quarterback sneak to put the
Devils ahead for good 12-8.
Matt Nazzarro intercepted a
Northside pass in their
final drive to seal the
game. Nazzarro had 122 yards
rushing to lead the South
running attack. Along with
his INT, Mosely led the
Bluedevils defense with 9
tackles. Liuzzo had 8 stops
and cornerbacks Corey and
Devan Jackson each had 5
tackles apiece. Zack
Panebianco led the Northside
defense with 13 tackles. Ben
Larson and Tyler Coulter
each had 10 for the
Warriors. Kinsey was the
leading rusher for the
North, weaving his way for
93 yards.
10/17 - Northside
defeated Fredonia 7-6:
It was a
cold and wintery afternoon at Strider Field as Northside defeated
Fredonia 7-6. It was a hard fought game between the two teams
in the first round of the playoffs. Northside's Ben Larson had
169 yards rushing and scored the only touchdown and PAT in the
second quarter. Then late in the third quarter Fredonia's
Cameron Voss had an 80 yard touchdown run. Leading tacklers
for Northside were Steven Carlson, Noah Johnson, Tyler Coulter and
Tommy Wofford. Defensive for Fredonia were Mike Pucci, Dakota
Gardner and Nick Gloff. Northside's next game will be Saturday
Oct. 24th at Strider Field for the JAMFL Championship.
10/10
- Northside defeated Dunkirk 26-0:
Ben Larson had
102 yards rushing and a touch down. Zacc Kinsey had 5 and 6 Yard
touch down runs in the first and second quarters. Steven Carlson had
a 9 yard touch down run. PAT were made by Zach Panebianco and Steven
Carlson. Defensive Stand outs for the warriors were Tommy Wofford,
Tyler Coulter with 7 tackles a piece. Carlson with 8 and a fumble
recovery. Kinsey with a interception. For Dunkirk Isiah Thomas had
14 tackles, Geo Dejesus 13 tackles and Travis Maxwell and gage
Austin led their Offense.
10/4
- Fredonia defeated Northside 6-0:
In a
hard fought battle on Saturday night at the Fredonia Orange Bowl the
Fredonia Hillbillies defeated Northside 6 to 0. The only score of
the game came on a 2 yard touchdown run by Dakota Gardner with less
than 2:00 left in the game. The game saw great defensive stands
from both teams as most of the game was played between the 30 yard
lines. Northside came close to scoring at the end of the first
half, but Fredonia's Madison Crowell made a great open field tackle
on the 3 yard line to save a touchdown with time running out. For
Fredonia, Gardner was the leading rusher while Mike Pucci was the
leading tackler. The Billies Cameron Voss and Daniel Barnes had
interceptions to preserve the victory. For Northside, the offense
was led by Ben Larson who had 83 yards rushing, and on defense by
Bannon Eimiller with 10 tackles and Alex Schapp with 9. Noah Johnson
hauled in an interception.
9/26
- Northside defeated Southwestern 14-6:
Northside Warriors defeated Southwestern Spartans 14-6. It was a
hard fought game for the Warriors. Zacc Kinsey had 121 yards rushing
and a TD.Ex Point was made by Ben Larson. Larson finished the
scoring on a 1 yard run.Ex. Point was good by Kinsey. Defensive for
the Warriors was Larson with 16 tackles, Zach Panebianco with
10,Carlson, Williams and Johnson with 6 a Piece. Southwestern Curtis
Calson had a 60 yard touch down run. Jarett Yuchnitz had 60 yrd
rushing. Defensive for the Spartans was Jacob Chamberlain with 8
tackles. Northside next game is in Fredonia at 6:00pm.
9/19
- Northside defeated Falconer 26-0:
Northside Warriors defeated the Falconer Tigers 26-0. Noah Johnson
scord on a 2 yard run. Zacc Kinsey added to the score with a 6 yard
scamper and had 102 yards rushing. Zach Panebianco hit Ben Larson
for a 33 yard touch down. Johnson hit Carlson for the extra point.
Then Alex schupp ran for 26 yards to score the final touch down. The
Warriors Defense did an out standing job by holding the Tigers and
having 3 fumble recovers by Richard Williams, Schupp and Tyler
Coulter. For the Tigers Luke Munella had 25 yard rushing and 12
takles. Calvin Nowicki and Tyler Himes had 9 Tackels a piece.
Northside next game is at Southwestern at 6:00pm.
9/12
- Northside defeated Westside 28-0:
Ben larson was leading rusher with 115 yrds
with 3 Tds. Zacc Kinsey had 70 yrds rushing
and a Td. Panebianco had a Interception and
ran it in for a 35 yrd touch down. Steven
carlson had both ex. points. Alex Schupp,
Adam Gullo, Tyler Coulter and Noah Johnson
all had 5 talkles a piece. Kinsey had two
Interception. Westside Jacab Quattrone had
50 yrds rushing. Graham Davis had 5 tackles
and Trevor Thomas had 4 tackles.
9/5 - Southside defeated Northside 19-7:
Jorge Torres reeled in a 21 yard tipped
pass for a touchdown thrown from running
back Matt Nazzaro to help the Southside
Bluedevils defeat the Northside warriors
19-7. Trailing 7-6 midway through the 3rd
quarter, Bluedevil quarterback Kyle Liuzzo
pitched the ball to tailback Nazzaro, who
then set up and tossed a spiral off the
outstretched hands of a Warrior cornerback
and into the hands of Torres. Nazzaro gained
176 yards on 20 carries and scored on runs
of 14 and 31 yards. Devan Jackson, a
bruising fullback, paved the way for the
southside running attack. Kevin Mosely added
an extra point conversion. On defense,
Mosely had 8 tackles and Damian Jackson had
4 tackles with a sack. Devonte Strudwick
chipped in with an interception. For
Northside, Zacc Kinsey rushed for 52 yards
and scored from 1 yard out. On Defense, Zack
Panabianco and Adam Gullo each had 7
tackles. Kinsey and Christian Edborg each
chipped in with 6 stops.
8/29 - Northside defeated Cassadaga 19-6:
Ben Larson had 18 carries for 162yrds and
two TD's. Zacc Kinsey had 12 carries for
98yrds and the Ex Pt. Zach Panebianco scord
on a two yard run to finish the scoring for
Northside.Defensive for the Warriors were
Zach panebianco with 11 tackles, Christian
Edborg, Ben Larson and Bannon Eimiller with
8 tackles a piece. Kinsey had a interception
for 24 yrds. Cassadaga Shane Parson had the
lone TD and was their defence stand out.
Northside next week game is home at strider
field against Southside. |
