10/17 - Southside
defeated Dunkirk 20-0:
With
over 300 yards rushing Southside defeated Dunkirk 20 - 0.
Keven Mosley scored twice on runs of 11 and 18 yards. Kyle
Liuzzo scored on a QB sneek then threw for a two point conversion to
Jorge Torres to round out the scoring. "Gus" Calwell had 80 yards
rushing as did Matt Nazarro. The Defense was led by Logan Bellardo
with 10 tackles and Keven Mosley with 9. Southside will take
on Northside Saturday the 24th at Strider Field for the J.A.M.F.L.
Championship.
10/10
- Northside defeated Dunkirk 26-0:
Ben Larson had
102 yards rushing and a touch down. Zacc Kinsey had 5 and 6 Yard
touch down runs in the first and second quarters. Steven Carlson had
a 9 yard touch down run. PAT were made by Zach Panebianco and Steven
Carlson. Defensive Stand outs for the warriors were Tommy Wofford,
Tyler Coulter with 7 tackles a piece. Carlson with 8 and a fumble
recovery. Kinsey with a interception. For Dunkirk Isiah Thomas had
14 tackles, Geo Dejesus 13 tackles and Travis Maxwell and gage
Austin led their Offense.
10/3
- Dunkirk defeated Cassadaga 8-0:
The
midget Marauders only needed one score by Gage Austin who carried
the load for the offense by carrying the ball 18 times for 110
yards. Jon McCarthy carried 4 times for 28 yards. Richard Pickens
caught the 2point conversion from Josh Goodwin. The marauder defense
was led by Geo Dejesus who had 10 tackles. Josh Goodwin added
7 tackles, 1 tackle for loss and a interception. Cassadaga
moved the ball real well the entire game as they were led by Chris
Ellis. On defense Matt Heath and Jarryd Bernoudy proved to be tough
to stop by the Marauder offensive line.
9/26 - Southside defeated Dunkirk 21-0:
Matt Nazzarro gained 117 yards on 8 carries to lead the Southside
Blue Devils over the Dunkirk Marauders 21-0. The offensive line
anchored by Damien Jackson, Logan Bellardo, Dominic Santiago, Gus
Caldwell and Karsen Terry helped pave the way for the Southside
running attack. Nazzarro opened the scoring by scampering 65 yards
for a touchdown. Kevin Mosely caught the 2 point conversion pass
from quarterback Kyle Liuzzo. Mosely also added a touchdown run of
his own, barreling in from 8 yards. Liuzzo called his own number and
ran in the extra point. Devan Jackson finished the scoring by
weaving his way 14 yards into the endzone to complete the scoring.
For Blue Devil defense,linebackers Liuzzo and Mosely led the way
with 11 and 6 tackles respectively. Another leader on defense was
left tackle, Tank Sherman who pitched in with 9 stops of his own.
Nazzarro had 4 tackles including a sack and a fumble recovery. Gage
Austin was the leader on both sides of the ball for Dunkirk. Tim
Cerrie was also a defensive standout for the Marauders.
9/19
- Dunkirk defeated Westside 13-8:
The Dunkirk Marauders found another way to
win on saturday n yet another dog fight with
westside. The the marauders defense shut the
door after westsides only touchdown by
Hunter Peterson who ran hard for 102 yards.
The 2pt conversion was completed to Jake
Qualtrone by a pass from Carson Peters. The
marauders offense was led by Josh Goodwin
who had 11 carries for 93 yards n the only
offensive touchdown for Dunkirk. Evan grey
for westside help keep the marauder offense
n check with 5 tackles. On defense the
marauders were led by Geo Dejesus with nine
tackles 2 fumble recoveries taking one to
the house for the winning score. Isiah
Thomas caused a fumble on the last play of
the game with his sack. He add 7 of his own
tackles. Seamus Raynor recovered that fumble
and had 9 tackles. Gage Austin had 8
tackles.
9/12 - Dunkirk defeated Falconer 14-12:
In a thrilling 4th quarter which seen
dunkirk scoring to take an 14-6 lead over
falconer, also seen falconer drive right
back down the field and score to pull within
two of the marauders. On the 2pt conversion
to tie the game Dunkirks Jeremy Lockett
intercepted the pass to lock up the marauder
win. The Marauders were led on both sides of
the ball by Geo DeJesus who carried the rock
19 times for 118 yards. He also led the
defense with 15 tackles 5 of which were
tackles for loss. Shane Martinez scored his
frist career varsity touchdown on and 11
yard run. Gage Austin carried the ball 6
times for 30 yards all came in the game
winning drive as he leaped over a falconer
defender for the score. All of which could
not have been done without the terrific
blocking upfront and by josh goodwin. Travis
Maxwell hit Jon McCarthy for the 2pt
conversion. Falconer was led by tayler himes
who had two touchdowns and couldnt be stoped
while leading the falconer offense.
Falconers Ryan Dustin added 8 tackles.
9/5 - Dunkirk defeated Southwestern 2-0:
In what can be called the best defensive
performance of this young season by both
teams, this meeting by the Dunkirk Marauders
and Southwestern Spartans was settled by a
safety by Dunkirks Jon McCarthy. He also led
the marauder defense with 9 tackles and 2
sacks. Geo DeJesus also chipped in with 9
tackles. Gage Austim had 6 tackles and a
interception. Southwestern was led by Jacob
Chamberlains 12 tackle performance as he
help the Spartans shut down the marauder
offense. Jack Carlson led the Southwestern
offense with 41 yards rushing.
8/28 - Fredonia defeated Dunkirk 16-0:
Fredonia's scoring was led by Cameron Voss
with 2 touchdowns, and Eric Swoyer who
caught 2 PAT's from quarterback Patrick
Moore. Drew Coniglio and Jameson Bunge led
the Billies attack on the offensive line,
while Fredonia's defense was led by Dakota
Gardner, Mike Pucci and Josh Horch.
Dunkirk's top performers were leading
tacklers Isiah Thomas and Jon McCarthy.
Gianni Dejesus played stellar defense for
the Maurauders by hauling in 2 interceptions
in the losing effort. |
