11/29 - Southwestern
defeated Croton-Harmon 35-7:
The Southwestern Trojans
have completed their journey
and it ended Saturday
afternoon as the Trojans defeated
the Tigers of Croton-Harmon
35-7 in the Carrier Dome.
The Trojans controlled all 3
phases of the game.
The MVP of the game was Zack Sopak who threw
for 2 touchdowns and ran for
another touchdown.
The Trojan offense was also
led by John Mistretta who
ran for 92 yards and a
touchdown, while Levi Bursch
and Andy Lata each had a
touchdown reception.
The defense was totally
dominating while holding the
Croton-Harmon Tigers to
under 200 total yards.
Congratulations to the 2008
SW Trojans who have won the
first ever state
championship for the
football Trojans.

11/29 - Maple Grove defeated
Moriah 55-7:
Game MVP Chris Secky threw
for 3 touchdowns and ran 2
other scores as the Maple
Grove Red Dragons
"manhandled" the Moriah
Vikings 55-7 to win the NY
State Class C Championship.
Joe Caporale caught 6 passes
for 175 yards and 3
touchdowns for the Dragons.
The defense held Moriah out
of the endzone until late in
the 4th quarter.
