10/31 - Maple Grove defeated
Randolph 49-14:
Coach Brent Brown of the
Randolph Cardinals tried his
best to rally the Cardinals
defense to upset the high
powered Maple Grove Red
Dragons. Early in the
game, the Randolph defense
kept them in the game, but
the potent Red Dragon
offense finally came to life
and proved to be too much
for the Randolph Cardinals.
Maple Grove was led by Josh
Larson and Joe Caporale who
combined for 7 touchdowns.
Caparole was the main threat
through the air as he hauled
in 7 catches for 191 yards
while Larson had 189 yards
on the ground on 20 carries.
For the Cardinals, Terry
carried the load and scored
both touchdowns on the
ground. Maple Grove
will face Clymer at Ralph
Wilson Stadium next
Saturday.

Playoffs, it was Travis

again. Terry had 4
touchdowns and 264 yards on
the ground. The

10/10 - Randolph defeated
Chautauqua Lake 48-7:
A month ago, the
Randolph Cardinals were
sitting there thinking
"we're in trouble"!
And they were in trouble
they had just been beaten
soundly by Portville and
Maple Grove. Now that
we are a month later, those
same Randolph Cardinals are
starting to get their
swagger back. This
week's victim The Chautauqua
Lake T-Birds.
Travis Terry led the
Cardinals by rushing for 163
yards on 13 carries.
On 6 of those 13 carries,
Travis scored 6 touchdowns
(a new school record).

rushing touchdown for
Randolph. The defense
was led by Daniel Shaw who
recorded 11 tackles.
Matt Hettenbaugh contributed
on defense with 2
interceptions and 2 fumble
recoveries. For the
Thunder Birds, Tony Dechario
had 125 yards and the ground
and scored Chautauqua Lakes
long touchdown. Steve
Kinny and Luke Nickerson led
the T-Birds defense with 7
tackles each.
10/3 - Randolph defeated
Frewsburg 29-2:
Randolph is gaining momentum
on the 2008 Class DD High
School Football Season.
A .500 team strolls on to
the undefeated Frewsburg
Bears home turf and shuts
down a high powered offense
and shreds the defense with
a solid running attack led
by Travis Terry who had 253
yds on 22 carries.
Terry also had 3 touchdown
runs of 31, 13 and 16 yards.
Fields pitched in with a 13
yard run late in the game to
seal the victory for the
Cardinals. The

Bears to under 150 yards of
total offense. Is it
too late for the Cardinals
to make a playoff run?
