10/25 - Clymer defeated Frewsburg 20-13:  Dan Wiggers started off the scoring for Clymer by returning a missed field goal 95 yards and the Pirates of Clymer never looked back.  With the score 20-0 midway through the 4th quarter Frewsburg started to make a comeback as Asa Johnson had 2 touchdown passes, one to Justin Fardink and one to Brian Thompson.  Frewsburg then attempted an onside kick, but they were unable to recover.  Clymer was led by Josh Ferl with 16 tackles.

10/10 - Maple Grove defeated Frewsburg 64-9:  The Frewsburg Bears saw their undefeated season come to a screeching halt last Friday night against the Randolph Cardinals.  This week the Bears traveled to Maple Grove to find the Dragons waiting to take over where the Cardinals left off, dominating in all three phases of the game, offense, defense and special teams.  Maple Grove took a 51-0 lead at halftime and never looked back.  Jake Larson had 2 touchdown runs and Chris Secky threw 2 touchdown passes to Joe Caporale and Logan Liddell.  The stifeling Dragon defense held Frewsburg to -22 yards rushing.  The bright spot for Frewsburg was the play of Justin Fardink who played well defensively and recorded 4 catches.

10/3 - Randolph defeated Frewsburg 29-2:  Randolph is gaining momentum on the 2008 Class DD High School Football Season.  A .500 team strolls on to the undefeated Frewsburg Bears home turf and shuts down a high powered offense and shreds the defense with a solid running attack led by Travis Terry who had 253 yds on 22 carries.  Terry also had 3 touchdown runs of 31, 13 and 16 yards.  Fields pitched in with a 13 yard run late in the game to seal the victory for the Cardinals.  The Cardinal defense held the Bears to under 150 yards of total offense.  Is it too late for the Cardinals to make a playoff run?

9/26 - Frewsburg defeated Franklinville 49-7:  It seems like football fans and media outlets everywhere are not giving Frewsburg any credit this year, which is hard to believe after their impressive 4-0 start.  Well read my lips "JASZone is Impressed!"

Frewsburg traveled to Franklinville Friday night to take on the 0-3 Panthers.  The result was the same result that the Frewsburg Bears are getting used to this year...a dominating victory.  The Bears offense was once again led by Dalton Scalf and Asa Johnson.  Scalf finished the night with 13 carries for 164 yards and 3 touchdowns.  Johnson was 8-15 on the night with one touchdown pass to Joe Bowman.  The Bears defense was led by Chris Mitchell with 13 tackles while Jake Hyldahl added 9.

9/19 - Frewsburg defeated Cattaraugus Little Valley 28-0:  The Frewsburg Bears are 3-0 after a convincing 28-0 victory over Cattaraugus Little Valley.  Dalton Scalf led the way for the Bears offensively with 182 yards on the ground and 2 TDs.  Chris Mitchell led the Bears with 12 tackles defensively.

9/12 - Frewsburg defeated Pine Valley 40-0:  The Frewsburg High School Bears continued their winning ways by blanking the visiting Pine Valley team on a humid night in Frewsburg.  Dalton Scalf led the way offensively racking up 240 yards on the ground and 4 touchdowns.  Defensively, Casey Billyard had 10 tackles while Major Stearns added 9 for the Bears.  The Bears host Catt-Little Valley next week at home.

9/5 - Frewsburg defeated Chautauqua Lake 14-6:  The Frewsburg High School Bears got off to a good start by defeating Chautauqua Lake 14-6.  Dalton Scalf started off the scoring with a 12 yard scamper to paydirt.  Asa Johnson also hit Jeff Mason for an 18 yard touchdown pass.  Scalf finished the night with 61 yards rushing.
